Samurai Girl has a cast...

... and it's really a great one. I'm extremely happy to say that the major roles for the SAMURAI GIRL television pilot I'm writing and co-executive producing for ABC Family have been very well cast.

Jamie Chung is Heaven, the title Samurai Girl of our piece.

Brendan Fehr is Jake Stanton, Heaven's brother's sensitive tough guy best friend with a past.

Steven Brand is the mysterious Severin.

Saige Thompson is Cheryl, Heaven's best friend.

Kyle Labine is Otto, Cheryl's roommate.

Anthony Wong is Heaven's father, billionaire industrialist Konishi Kogo.

Sab Shimono is Noriyuki, Heaven's beloved driver.

Kenneth Choi is Sato, Heaven's father's ambitious right-hand man.

Quite an attractive cast, if I do say so myself.... Behind the scenes people include Executive Producers Frank (X-Files) Spotnitz and Bob (Gossip Girl) Levy, Director Bryan (so much good television) Spicer and Director of Photography Joel (Battlestar freakin' Galactica miniseries) Ransom.

Shooting starts November 1st in Vancouver... and, yes, I'm extremely excited.

Attractive cast? That is for sure! Congratulations, Luke! I don't see how you can miss with this team. And how did you get "Director of Photography Joel (Battlestar freakin' Galactica miniseries) Ransom?" You must be thrilled.

Keep posting!
